But those who are looking to enhance their cultural side—or anyone looking for a rainy day activity—Hilton Head has plenty to offer to stimulate your artistic or musical fancy.
Music
The place to visit to hear some of the best jazz in the country is The Jazz Corner. For almost twenty years, vacationers and locals alike have enjoyed this hot spot, named one of the “100 Great Jazz Rooms” in the world. But be sure to book a reservation early, as there are just fewer than 100 seats in the club.
If you are more into the band scene, or a variety of music from country to rock to reggae, come check out the Tiki Hut. The atmosphere here is beachy and casual, and it’s a great place to grab a cocktail while listening to any number of great hits.
Art
This staple of local cultural education hosts many exhibits throughout the year, but they especially known in the art world for their sculpture exhibit. In 2018, the free Public Art Exhibition featured 20 enormous sculptures from artists across the country. Check out their calendar of events to see what exhibits will be showing while you are in town.
This gallery is the hub for fine art on the island. Located centrally, and easily accessible, the Art League is a great place to view many varieties of fine arts. Not only that, but you can try your hand at creating some of your own by taking a class at their Academy, which is open to any level of artist.
