If you are one of those blessed to own your own boat, you undoubtably want to take it with you everywhere you go on vacation. Why wouldn’t you? So that means when you plan a vacation, you need to make plans for your boat as well. A vacation in Hilton Head will be perfect for you, as there are plenty of places for your boat to hit the water. Find the one most convenient to where you’re staying, or try one that will lead to the most exciting boating adventure.

Marshland Boat Landing

For access to Broad Creek, take a look into Marshland Landing. You will find wet slips as well as dry storage for when you aren’t on your boat. If your boat is less than 55 feet long, you will find an abundance of slips. However, be aware of the rather shallow 16-foot water level during low tide. Call ahead for a launch.

Cross Island Boat Landing

If you’re interested in heading out into the Calibogue Sound, head over to the Cross Island Bridge. This landing primarily caters to motorized boats, though there is a floating dock for kayaks.

C.C. Haigh Jr. Boat Landing

If you’re interested in visiting the Pinckney Island Wildlife Refuge, bring your boat! You’ll find a new ramp and courtesy dock and access to MacKay and Skull Creeks. There’s plenty of parking, so leave your boat while you explore the land creatures on the island, then take a trip down the creek to watch for aquatic wildlife.

When you decide to bring your boat with you on your Hilton Head vacation, you can relax and kick back on board. We’ve got a place all prepared for your boat.
