It’s your Hilton Head vacation, and you’re looking for things to do.  You’ve got your tennis appointments made, you know what days you want to spend on the beach (or maybe your times during every day that you want to spend on the beach), and you have that fishing trip you’re looking forward to in a couple days.  But, you’re still at a loss for what to do to fill time between.  You’re in need of a happy hour, a brunch, some lunch alternatives, and possibly shows or other events.  Here are just a few fun ideas.

Sunday Brunches You Must Try to Believe

The Crazy Crab in Jarvis Creek. One look on Yelp and you’ll be craving these hush puppies.  This is a true southern brunch momma would approve for you and all your guests on vacation.  #1 recommendation for sure is the Shrimp and Grits!

A Lowcountry Backyard, new American southern seafood. Not only is the Sunday Brunch great, this restaurant also has great live music provided by local talent and is always a good time.  Come for the food, stay for the drinks, and enjoy the company and good music!

The Best Lunch Spots

A good burrito is a great lunch.  Head over to Java Burrito Co to experience, possibly, the best burrito in town.  Looking for a good American Grille for lunch?  Try Links, an American Grille, a great place to relax and enjoy the company of your friends and.  If you’re into Sports, Blues, and Soul Food, you will definitely enjoy Ruby Lee’s.  And if you’re looking for something just a little different, try 843.  It’s listed as Gluten Free, International, American, and Contemporary.

You may need a reservation, so take a look at these websites, and call in advance if needed.  All these places are great spots to go, and definitely won’t disappoint!

Live Shows and Events

There are always spots to find music on the island.  Usually bars will have a band or acoustic performer nightly.  There are also great events happening all summer long…  Year-round really, but the summer time is where it’s at when you’re on Hilton Head!  Here are a few events to add to the list:

Summer Jams at Shelter Cove Community Park – Tuesdays, June 14 and 21st

Parrot Palooza at Shelter Cove Harbour – Thursday, June 16 and 23rd.

HarbourFest at Shelter Cove Harbour – Fridays, June 17 and 24th

Movie Night in the Park – Thursdays, June 16, 23rd, and 30th
