Our little haven off the coast of South Carolina isn’t just a peaceful slice of paradise on the sand.  There’s always a lot to choose from for kids, adults, and families alike!  Here’s a short list of a few things happening this month to help get you thinking about planning your next trip to HHI!

Pelican’s Point Comedy Club

Every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday until the end of October check out “Two Thought Minimum” starring Mentalist, Bill Gladwell.  Whether or not you’ve ever been at a show where somewhere can seemingly read the mind of the audience, combined with great showmanship and humor, you’ll be in for a real treat!  He performs across the nation, but for the next couple months, we have him here at Hilton Head!  Read more about the show.

Xanadu!

Through July 26 at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina be sure to grab your tickets to “Xanadu”!  This Broadway hit show is a spoof on the 80s film and follows along the addictive chart-topping film score ELO and Olivia Newton John including “Magic,” “All Over the World,” “Suddenly,” “I’m Alive,” “Evil Woman,” “Strange Magic,” “Have You Never Been Mellow,” and “Xanadu”.

Butterfly Discovery

All summer long through October 26, this is an all day event fantastic for children and adults to get to know the local, native butterflies that live on the island!  It really is a fun time, and you can learn a lot about how to attract butterflies to your own garden, and how to increase butterfly numbers in the wild.  Reservations are required.  Make yours today by calling 843-689-6767 ext. 223.  See more about this here.

Happy Hours, Live Music, Karaoke, Bar Crawls, and Specials

There is always live music, there are some hysterical Karaoke nights, and as always – great bar specials, happy hours, and bar crawls to take advantage of.  Don’t forget to pick up a bike so you can get around to each of the bars easily.  There are bike routes to most places you’ll want to hop to, and we can probably point you in a good direction if you’re around when we drop off your rental!  If you’re a pre planner, check out TheHottestSpots.com and see pretty much all the best spots and links to the specials and event calendars.
