Ain’t no party like a beach party! When the sun goes down, that’s when the best beach parties begin! Hilton Head Island has one of the top ten beaches in the US, so it’s no wonder why folks keep coming back again and again. So if you’re looking to plan a nighttime beach party at Hilton Head this summer, here are a few pointers to get you started.
Partying on the Beach
Bear in mind that most beaches do not keep late hours. However, Burkes Beach is open 24 hours a day! So, if you’re deadest on having a beach party on the actual beach, this location is your best bet. Remember that the beaches have rules like alcohol and fire regulations, which might change your party’s dynamic. So, plan accordingly.
Partying Near the Beach
Since not all beaches keep nighttime hours, we highly suggest holding your soiree near the beach. There are many beachside restaurants in Hilton Head. If you want to have a bonfire, you might want to choose Fish Camp on Broad Creek, or if live music and dancing are part of your beachy bash, then San Miguel’s might be the right location for you. If you have a large party, call the venue beforehand if you need to make reservations.
Partying in Your Beach Rental
If you’ve lucked out and reserved a place on the beach, why not host at your rental? You can head to the store for all your décor needs, and if you don’t feel like throwing together snacks, you can always cater some low-country goodies for your guests. To take things up a notch, make your gathering a themed party! Host a luau or a nautical-themed shindig and have your friends decked out in the proper attire. Have some photo booth props for the best photo ops! Just remember to be mindful of your neighboring vacationers; better yet, invite them to join you!
We’re glad you’ve chosen the beaches of Hilton Head to be the backdrop for your evening get-together. Don’t worry, beach happy!
