heritage golf tournament hilton head island

It’s that time again!  The Hilton Head Island “Heritage PGA Golf Tournament” will be in full swing on April 13th.  Golfers and fans will attend the RBC Heritage at the Harbour Town Golf Links at Sea Pines. Since the first tee in 1969, our little stop on this big tour has become one of the most loved, celebrated and charitable locations the tour has to offer. And, as South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event, it’s a popular time on the island, as you might imagine.

If you’ve visited the island before, whether for the event itself or just to vacation- you may already know the ins and out of getting around on HHI.  But, if you’re new, you may be asking yourself, “what’s the best way to get around?”

Bikes: The Best and Easiest Way to Get Around

Right now, with fantastic 70-80 degree weather, the time is ripe to ride your bike from hole to hole at the Harbour Town Golf Links!  But that’s not all- in our little slice of heaven there are many alleyways, and bike paths set up so you basically get across the entire island in the open air, on a bicycle.

Whether by yourself, with a group, or with family, there are many bicycle styles and sizes to choose from in our regular inventory!  Check out the store on our site to make a reservation today, or simply give us a call at (800) 655-9315.

If you’re here for golf, but you’ve gotten here a few days early, or are staying a few days after, be sure to see our recent blog on Happy Hours and other fun stuff here.  And if you’re looking for all the goings on of the PGA Tournament itself, be sure to get to the event site, right here.

As always, enjoy your stay on Hilton Head Island, and be sure to let us know if there’s anything we can do to make your stay more comfy!
